Halcyon believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We never test our products on animals.
Growing up in Australia I was fortunate enough to have access to nature’s most beautiful resources. This influenced how I treat my body and encouraged a holistic lifestyle approach to my health and well-being.
Living close to nature fostered a deep and personal respect for all living things – a respect compounded by my massage work and my yoga teacher training.
Having suffered with psoriasis all my life, I started to question what was in the skincare products I had been using. Unwittingly I’d been making my skin worse by applying a cocktail of chemicals to it.
So, I started researching and experimenting – using only naturally derived ingredients. And the results were dramatic. I knew then I wanted to create a clean, plant-based + cruelty free skincare range that I could trust and share with as many people as I could.
And so Halcyon was born.
